BlockTrace Forensics — Disclaimer & Disclosures
Please read these disclosures carefully before engaging our services. We believe in setting honest, transparent expectations.
Legal Documents
No Recovery Guarantee
BlockTrace Forensics provides blockchain forensic investigation services. We do not guarantee the recovery of any assets.
Asset recovery outcomes depend on numerous factors outside our control, including:
- The cooperation of centralised exchanges and custodians
- The jurisdiction in which the fraud occurred or assets reside
- The timeliness of reporting (assets move quickly — earlier action improves odds)
- Whether the perpetrators have cashed out or obfuscated funds
- Decisions made by law enforcement agencies and courts
- The nature and traceability of the blockchain used
We will provide honest assessments of recovery probability before and during your engagement. We do not accept cases where we believe there is no realistic path to recovery without disclosing this to you first.
Not Legal Advice
BlockTrace Forensics is a blockchain forensics and intelligence firm. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
Our services include:
- Forensic investigation and on-chain analysis
- Evidence collection and chain-of-custody documentation
- Expert report preparation for legal proceedings
- Coordination with legal counsel on technical matters
Our services do not include legal strategy, advice on whether to pursue litigation, or representation in legal proceedings. Engage a qualified attorney for all legal matters. We work alongside attorneys and can provide referrals to legal professionals experienced in crypto fraud cases.
Not Financial Advice
Nothing on our website or in our communications constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice. References to cryptocurrency values, market data, or recovery amounts in case studies are historical and for illustrative purposes only.
Do not make financial decisions based on information provided by BlockTrace Forensics without consulting a qualified financial advisor.
Information Accuracy
We strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on our website. However:
- Blockchain data and analytics tools evolve rapidly — methodologies described may change
- Case studies and testimonials reflect individual outcomes and are not indicative of typical results
- Recovery statistics cited represent historical performance and do not predict future results
- Legal frameworks referenced may differ by jurisdiction and change over time
If you find inaccurate information on our website, please contact us at info@blocktraceforensics.com.
Third-Party Actions
Our work frequently involves requesting actions from third parties — cryptocurrency exchanges, custodians, payment processors, and law enforcement. We cannot control or guarantee the responses or actions of any third party.
- Exchange cooperation is voluntary unless compelled by legal process
- Law enforcement prioritisation of crypto cases varies significantly by jurisdiction
- Asset freeze requests may be denied, delayed, or overturned
- We are not responsible for third-party failures, delays, or inaction
Scam Warning — Protect Yourself
BlockTrace Forensics will never:
- Contact you unsolicited claiming we can recover your funds
- Ask for your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords — ever, for any reason
- Guarantee a specific recovery amount before completing a forensic investigation
- Pressure you into an immediate payment decision
- Demand payment via untraceable methods or obscure channels outside our official portal
- Impersonate law enforcement or claim special government authority to recover funds
What we actually offer — transparently:
- Free consultation — if you contact us through our Contact page, we provide an initial case assessment at no cost before you commit to anything.
- Clear, published pricing — our investigation packages have fixed prices listed publicly on our Pricing page. No hidden fees, no "processing charges" added later.
- Payment after you choose a package — payment is only required after you have reviewed the package scope and chosen to proceed. We do not solicit payment outside of this process.
- Refund policy — if we are unable to deliver the agreed forensic output for your case, you are entitled to a refund. Full terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
If you have been approached by someone claiming to be BlockTrace Forensics and they are asking for things outside the above — particularly wallet credentials or payment outside our official portal — please contact us immediately to verify their identity.
