Every case begins with a consultation. Investigation fees are quoted transparently before work starts — no upfront surprises, no percentage-of-recovery schemes, no pressure.
All packages start with a a consultation where we assess your case. Quoted prices are starting-from rates — complex cases involving multiple blockchains, mixers, years of transaction history, or large fund volumes may be quoted higher. We always explain the full cost before work begins and never charge more than the quoted amount without your approval. We do not take percentage-of-recovery fees, as this would compromise our forensic independence.
All packages include a full quote before work begins. No hidden fees, no surprises.

The initial consultation is completely free. Once we assess your case and you agree to a package, a deposit is required to begin work — typically 50% upfront with the balance on delivery of the report. For emergency cases, full payment is required at intake due to the immediate resource commitment.
Percentage-of-recovery ("contingency") models create a financial incentive to over-promise outcomes — which would compromise our forensic integrity and mislead victims. Our fees are for the investigation and evidence — not for the outcome. This independence is what makes our reports credible in court.
We will always contact you before performing any work beyond the agreed scope. If investigation reveals unexpected complexity — such as additional chains, mixer layers, or OTC networks — we explain the additional scope and cost, and you decide whether to proceed. You are never billed beyond what you approved.
If your theft happened very recently (within 72 hours), choose Emergency Response — time matters most. If you want to understand what happened and have a lead for legal action, Trace & Evidence covers most cases. If you're pursuing a court case, Worldwide Freezing Order, or exchange subpoena, choose Full Recovery with our legal support team. Still unsure? Book a consultation and we'll recommend the right package.
Our fees cover the forensic investigation process — the work performed, not the outcome. In cases where the blockchain trail is genuinely exhausted (e.g., very old transactions, missing initial transaction details), we will explain this clearly before you commit any payment. We do not take on cases we believe cannot produce useful findings.
Yes. For Full Recovery and Enterprise packages, structured payment arrangements are available — typically split into case intake, mid-investigation, and delivery milestones. Contact us to discuss payment options for your case.
There is no strict minimum loss amount. However, for losses under $500, investigation fees may represent a significant portion of the loss — we will honestly advise you during the consultation whether the economics make sense for your specific situation. For losses over $5,000, forensic investigation almost always makes financial sense relative to potential recovery.
Tell us what happened — we'll assess your case, recommend the right package, provide a transparent quote, and explain exactly what to expect. No pressure, no commitment.
