Already Protected: Even without a signed NDA, all communications with BlockTrace Forensics are treated as strictly confidential under our standard Terms of Service. An NDA provides additional contractual protection and is commonly requested by corporate clients, attorneys, and high-value cases.
Why Request an NDA?
A formal Non-Disclosure Agreement provides legally binding confidentiality protections beyond our standard service terms. You may want an NDA if:
- You are a corporate or institutional client with regulatory obligations
- Your attorney has advised executing an NDA before sharing evidence

What Our Standard NDA Covers
Our standard mutual NDA includes the following provisions:
- Mutual obligation: Both parties agree not to disclose confidential information
- Definition of confidential: All case details, communications, findings, and reports
- Permitted disclosures: To attorneys, law enforcement (with consent), and courts as required
- Term: Standard 3-year term from execution (extended terms available)
- Governing law: Agreed upon at signing — we accommodate most jurisdictions
- Remedies: Injunctive relief available for breach
